DATE: Virtual challenge begins Sunday, May 3rd and ends on GLOBAL RUNNING DAY, June 3rd. Each week begins on Sunday and ends Saturday.
HOW IT WORKS: You've got from May 3rd to June 3rd to run, walk or cycle a total of 26.2 or 50 miles. It's up to you, choose your distance a Marathon 26.2 miles or go BIG with the Ultra Marathon distance at 50 miles. You get 4 weeks to complete the challenge in the time frame that suits you.
EMAIL US YOUR MILEAGE: We keep track of your mileage for you!! Email us Sunday of each week with your total mileage for the week. All we need is the total number and a screen shot. Please do not forget to include your name in your email.
PHOTOS: We love photos!! They are not required but we love to see your smiling faces. Send us a photo when you email your weekly mileage. Share your photos on social media with @totalimagerunning #runtheworldvirtualchallenge #totalimagerunning
YOUR NAME IN LIGHTS: Weekly results and photos you post on Facebook can be found on our Total Image Running RESULTS web page.
YOUR MISSION IN MAY: MAKE IT FUN!! Each week will have a different theme and corresponding themed bib. Bibs will be emailed to our participants on Sundays. You can then download and print at home.
FUN WEEKLY THEMES:
WEEK 1 CINCO DE MAYO - Get out those beads, sombreros and bright colors. It's time to celebrate Cinco De Mayo!! Take a picture in front of your favorite local Mexican restaurant, post your adventure and share with @totalimagerunning
WEEK 2 MOTHERS DAY - Thank your mom, someone who inspires you or has been an influence in your life. Acknowledge them by writing a special message on this weeks bib. Snap a photo of you with your special bib then share it with us on social media.
WEEK 3 ESSENTIAL WORKERS APPRECIATION WEEK - Who would you like to thank? Let's ban together and thank those on the front lines, first responders and essential workers who risk their lives to keep us safe. Write a thank you on this week's bib. Snap, post and tag us!
WEEK 4 MEMORIAL DAY - Summer is just about here and it's time to celebrate!!! Show us your patriotism by wearing RED, WHITE AND BLUE! Take a pix and share!
FINALE!!! GLOBAL RUNNING DAY - June 3rd! A day that celebrates the joy of running!!! Lace up those sneakers and run as much as you can. Share your journey with us by posting photos, your mileage and tagging @totalimagerunning.
WEEKLY PRIZES: We continue to partner and support local businesses. These partners have generously donated weekly prizes to be drawn each week. As long as you send us proof of your weekly run, jog, walk or ride for the week then you will be entered in our weekly drawing. 1 winner will be drawn each Monday, posted and announced live on our social channels.

The New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire, serves as the only food bank in the state, working to provide nutritious food and resources to the hundreds of thousands of New Hampshire residents that are food insecure. The Food Bank supplies millions of pounds of food annually to more than 425 partner agencies, including food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, children’s programs, senior centers and more. In turn, these agencies provide hunger relief to those suffering from food insecurity throughout the state.
